This training provides an introduction to management.  Participants will get an overview of the manager's role, including the fundamentals of setting expectations, holding others accountable, and offering feedback.  We examine the common mistakes of new managers, discuss how to avoid perceptions of favoritism, and create a development plan for succeeding during the first 6 months on the job.

Leadership Fundamentals Series
In this series, managers will explore the fundamentals of management in a connected series of workshops.  Topics can be customized, but generally include:  Introduction To Leadership, Managing Employee Performance, Developing & Mentoring Staff, Managing Your Career, and Organizational Effectiveness.  This series includes intensive practice sessions and "homework" activities to apply the learning on the job.
