Coaching is a one-on-one relationship where a manager and a coach work together to strengthen skills, build perspective, and increase the manager's effectiveness.
When is coaching appropriate?
· When your manager is struggling with soft skills, such as communication or motivating others.
· When you have a manager that needs to take his or her skills to the next level to prepare for a promotion or opportunity.
· When you are working with a manager dealing with perceptions of harassment, discrimination, favoritism, or anger issues.
· When you are working with a manager on a "last chance agreement" or performance improvement plan and you'd like to offer them some targeted support.
· When you see a “pattern” of problems or dysfunction associated with a manager.
· When your manager has a hard time retaining staff.
How is your program unique?
Cheri Baker offers a flat-rate coaching program that gets big results in a short timeframe. The program includes:
- Face to face coaching sessions (weekly or biweekly)
- Telephone and Email Support
- Assessment tools for the Manager
- A targeted coaching plan based on clearly defined goals
- A follow up plan for post-coaching success
- A 3 month follow-up to assess progress after coaching.
